Psychedelic Assisted Facilitation

Psychedelic experiences can be deeply personal and, for some individuals, emotionally significant. Approaching them thoughtfully requires more than choosing a retreat or preparing for the experience itself. Careful consideration of emotional readiness, intentions, expectations, setting, support, and integration can all play an important role in how an experience is approached and understood.

I provide professional guidance for adults who are considering or planning a legal psychedelic experience and want the support of an experienced trauma clinician before and after that experience.

My role is not to provide, prescribe, or administer psychedelic substances. Instead, I help individuals thoughtfully evaluate their options, prepare for planned experiences, and process and integrate what emerges afterward.

Training & Experience

My interest in psychedelic-assisted approaches grew from more than 25 years of clinical work with trauma and an ongoing commitment to understanding emerging approaches to mental health and healing.

I was accepted into SoundMind Institute's Psychedelic-Assisted Facilitator Training program as a member of the 2023–2024 cohort. I completed the year-long intensive training as well as experiential training in Jamaica in May 2024. In 2026, I further expanded my experience through an apprenticeship with Beckley Retreats in Jamaica.

This training complements my extensive background in trauma treatment and allows me to bring a trauma-informed clinical perspective to psychedelic preparation and integration.

For individuals considering a psychedelic retreat, determining where—and with whom—to have an experience can be an important part of the process.

I provide professional assessment and individualized guidance to help identify reputable, legally operating psychedelic retreat centers, guides, and programs that are appropriate for your needs, goals, and circumstances. This may include exploring options in jurisdictions where certain psychedelic services are legally available (within the US or outside).

Psychedelic Retreat Guidance

Preparation Work

Individualized sessions explore readiness, intentions, expectations, and concerns—helping you prepare for a planned psychedelic experience with greater awareness, clarity, and confidence.

Preparation may also provide an opportunity to consider your personal history, emotional resources, support system, expectations for the experience, and how you hope to approach what may emerge.

Individualized sessions following a psychedelic experience help you process what emerged, deepen your understanding of the experience, and translate meaningful insights into your everyday life.

Integration is not about assigning a particular meaning to an experience. It is an opportunity to explore it with curiosity and consider how new perspectives, emotions, memories, or insights may relate to your relationships, patterns, choices, and ongoing healing.

Integration Work

I do NOT provide, prescribe, or facilitate access to psychedelic substances. Individuals remain responsible for understanding and complying with the laws applicable to any psychedelic services they independently choose to pursue.
