Specialized Trauma Therapy for individuals 18y and older throughout North Carolina who are navigating the effects of trauma, emotional distress, or difficult life experiences.

Therapy may be especially helpful if you are experiencing:

  • Trauma, PTSD, or C-PTSD

  • Anxiety, chronic/excessive worry, or feeling overwhelmed

  • Depression/Mood Disorders

  • Grief and loss

  • Difficult or significant life transitions

  • Relationship patterns connected to past experiences

  • Emotional dysregulation or difficulty feeling safe

  • The lasting effects of developmental and/or relational trauma

  • Treatment resistance in previous settings

We will meet for an initial assessment in which I will explore current concerns, family history, medical history, trauma, education/vocation, relationships, strengths, and resilience factors in order to get a full presentation. Upon your second session, I will have taken all of that information to create your individualized treatment plan which includes a diagnosis (if needed) and goals that we will begin working towards in that session. This will be our roadmap to keep us on track towards healing. We will discuss these goals and update them on a need to basis ensuring you remain in the driver’s seat.

Therapy is provided via a HIPAA secure telehealth patient portal platform for those residing in North Carolina.

Levitt Trauma Therapy & Consulting is a private-pay practice and does not participate with insurance networks. This allows treatment decisions to remain between you and your therapist—guided by your individual needs rather than insurance requirements, diagnostic limitations, or restrictions on the length and structure of care. Upon request, a Superbill can be provided for clients. A Superbill is an itemized invoice of services that you can submit to your insurance provider to seek reimbursement that is in alignment with your Out-Of-Network benefits. I strongly encourage you to contact your insurance provider and inquire about your Out-Of-Network benefits as I have had clients be reimbursed their entire cost if not most of their session payment.
